Okay first you need to check and see if the eggs are fertile. Turn off your lights and get your flashlight out. Gently take the egg and hold it over the light. not to close (some flash lights are hotter than others, you dont want to fry the babys) Do you see anything moving? Do you see the air sac? Can you see the pores in the egg shell? Can you see the yolk? Do you see blood vessels or a thin red ring around the yolk? If there is a thin red ring this is a dead embryo best to leave the eggs in with the mum if they are dead, and let her leave them on her own
Wait until the female quits sitting on the eggs or pushes them out of the way. If you try to take the eggs or move them before SHE is ready, she will get mean and attack you.
Just keep talking to her in a quiet tone to reassuer her that you are not going to hurt her. This will also help her build up a trust in you.

Good luck.
