Can someone answer my sound out something like my cockatiels?
So I've had 3 cockatiels for a couple of years immediately; two females and one male. Well, adjectives 3 of them have pretty much be inseparable for about 5 years very soon. But, my male have gotten very sick lately and I have to leave him at the vet and separate him from the other 2. Now, I discovered that what the masculine has is fundamentally serious and chances of him surviving are slim (which breaks my heart since he's my babe, but that's another story). However, ever since we dropped the male past its sell-by date at the vet, the other 2 seem to enjoy gotten very depressed. They've both spent the entire time sleeping and enjoy barely eat and they keep chirping for the mannish every once in awhile. On the worst valise scenaria, if the male cockatiel be to pass away (I really hope not), how do you come up with it would affect the other two if they had to live lacking him? Do you think they would eventually be capable of adjust? How could I make it easier for them?
Answers: I am awfully sorry to hear about your masculine cockatiel. It is never easy to be face with the possibility of losing a beloved pet.
If you are beyond doubt sure that the females are not sick as well, than assume that they will jump through a period of loss. Make sure they are taking surrounded by fresh water and consumption and eventually they should bond with respectively other. I have experienced a similar situation and although it took awhile, everthing sorted itself out. If they are not drinking try enticing them with some millet.
They will eventually adjust but it will cart some time.
All you can do for them is give loads of TLC, patients & command.
i have hear that if one cockatiel dies the rest may die from shock or lonliness, im not sure if its true though. Anyway i had two cockatiels a masculine and a female and they be both fond of each other but one wretched day my dog manage to grab my masculine cockatiel through the cage, it openly died. My female cockatiel be really stressed, i was worried it may die so i stayed near it heaps and gave it lots of pat. Then to make sure it wouldnt obtain lonely i bought another male cockatiel to keep hold of it company. It took her a while to get over it but very soon she is happy and in shape and back to majority. She gets along near the new cockatiel really all right but isnt really overly fond of him. Im not sure if this helps you but i thought it be worth saying something.
I own a male cockatiel whose mate died. He seem very depressed for a long time and would yell incessantly for her. I moved my budgie into his cage near him, which seemed to label him feel better. They're best friends very soon, and he's back to middle-of-the-road. So I guess getting them a friend can help surrounded by some instances.
I hope your bird gets better! If that happen to mine I would freak out... he's my baby.

When they lose a friend or partner, birds will normally moarn for about a week.
Anything more than that and at hand could be a problem with them. It may be heart breaking right very soon to see them so depressed, but they should soon get over it.
