Conure's 'house arrest' ankle group?

Ok so the band around my jenday conure's ankle have been cause alot of stress lately... first I had gone away for a year and when I came hindmost Booka was acting kinda unusual but I thought that he was of late mad at me(he does that sometimes), he kept biting at his foot. So I checked it out and one of his backbone toes was slowed down in the belt. I felt so fruitless! Cause I wasn't here to help him and I don't know how long it be that way... Ok, so today I be sleeping in and Booka is sooo wonderful, he will of late eat and play kindly until I get up. Anyways, I hear one of his toys hitting the side of the cage and when I looked over it simply looked like he be playing so I went pay for to sleep. an hour and a half then I woke up and he was doing like thing he have been early, so I called to him(his round up is never closed so he flies over to my bed when I call him every morning) He be trying to get to me but he be stuck, his band be suck on the part of the toy where on earth it attaches to the cage.

Answers:    Most of the time birds do fine near the bands on their legs. But within your case, it does come across to be a huge problem. Take your baby to an avian veterinarian and ask them to remove it for you. Don't try to do it yourself as I hold heard of heaps of accidents of breaking the leg when trying to do this. Bird bones are hollow and it doesn't give somebody a lift much to break or fracture one.

Be sure you ask your vet to cut in where on earth you can still read the numbers and take it home and preserve it in a not detrimental place. These are used as identification near the breeders... changes are you'll never obligation it, but you never know.
If it's getting stuck, you need to own it removed, your bird could seriously injur itself!
