My Husband desires a Bird...?

What is the best BIRD TO HAVE WITH kids and a dog.
and to love it. like hold on your appendage and stuff

Answers:    I used to have a cockatiel. It be very cute and they can even whistle a tune if you school them one. They live to be about 15 years old-fashioned, too! The only entry I would recommend is to go some local vet's office in your nouns and find a good breeder. Birds that are bought from pet stores within malls and stuff are not very friendly. It's also fitting to get a set of two of birds. Just do a little research, or you might regret your purchase and you may purely get a mournful, depressed, angry bird. Good luck!
I suggest a Cockatiel, they have fitting temperaments, they're severely good beside children, and they're common as powerfully as inexpensive. If you are willing to spend more money, I would suggest looking into purchasing a Greater or Lesser Jardine. They are great near children, they do well surrounded by noisy households or even faint ones. They aren't very loud and can swot to talk and whistle. They also love spending time next to their humans.

get a bird that be hand feed ! this way you can hold them right away.sometimes birds solely bond, with one character in the household.
A twosome of birds as suggested by another is not a way to enjoy a bird that bonds with you but a bit with the other bird.
Parakeets or lovebirds are the best and are sooooo cute!
Depends on the dogs and kids.
Birds requirement a place of their own. They can get easily upset just close to a human or dog.
You need a foot raised/fed chick for first time owners.
A small parrot or conure would be the best as they are a bit easier for the newbies (senegal, quaker, larger conures, tiels are OK but a bit wilder).
Good luck. Remember, birds require on a daily basis attention or they can become a problem. Enjoy
