Oatmeal is a favorite of birds. The fruit flavored is the best way to take birds to except fruit. You can actually spoon nurture your bird some. They actually love it and great channel to warm their bellies beforehand bed time. I've used it for years as a way of weaning babies. I still use it on some of my developed birds to this day. Some of their favorites are the blue berry and the apple cinnamin. Since i spoon feed all my babies, they know what a fork and spoon have it in mind, so i have no problem breaking out silverware when i want to guzzle anything around my birds.
It's a great source of vitamins, minerals and proteins for birds. It's actually a perfect source of fiber and a good route to introduce fruits to any bird..

i nurture mine oatmeal mixed with grits...cooked..i with the sole purpose give it to them a few times a month...i contribute birdie bread too
