My hen newly hatch chicks within a nest box they can't bring out of. Will the mum purloin them to the food and dampen?
Or should I move them so they can get to the food and sea themselves? If the Mum takes them will she know how to put them back into nesting box? It is something like 40cm off the ground.
Thanks
Answers: Put the down on the ground. Feed them any Turkey or Chick starter.
You mean a chicken-type hen? No. You entail to take them out sp they can chisel around. Mother chickens don't feed their chicks similar to other birds do. Put a ramp back up to the nest box.
