Please can somebody who is experienced beside birds assistance me!?
Answers: Can I ask you how long you enjoy had this bird? I ask this because you seem to be to be obsessing more near what can be wrong with her instead of enjoy the bird. If you just get her I suggest a vet visit newly for a health check. Make sure it is a devout Aviary Vet or a vet who is familiar next to birds. Once you get the OK on the robustness issues try and enjoy your bird. And study up on them. Go to the library or shift on-line. Join a bird group or love-bird group. I know you studied up before getting her but you come across to be a little distraught. How about looking more into relating to her. What she like and natural behaviors. It is great to know abundantly about strength issues but not to the point you are seeing illness at every turn. Good luck. Enjoy your bird. Evita
birds do sometimes find a bit of discharge from there muzzle...it is fine as long as it is not green coloured.also soundes like she is a moment ago cleaning herself and making herself look pretty dont stress to much.you will kow if your bird is ill!
Your lovebird is preening when they stick their beak contained by their feather. They ruffle their feathers to facilitate straight them back out after preening too.
My one amazon love to play contained by his water dish throwing river all over the place, so yes your could of be doing the same this.
Since you can see how your bird self acting you are the only one who can opt if you should take it to your Avain vet. It is other been to be out of danger then sorry.

dont worry ist probaly marine if its there tomorrow it gould be alittil discharge. a moment ago dry is of with a towwel and later use a damp papper towl over its muzzle twice it should be gone by tommorow. just dont frenzy then your bird will panik.
Lovebirds do drink profoundly of water so likelihood are it WAS water.Yes its common for birds to place their beaks through their feathers, later ruffle them, your bird is preening then adjust her feathers to feel more comfortable. As you say-so your bird is active, I don't mull over there is result in for concern, but keep an eye on her,if you concentration any of the following .if your bird seems withdrawn, feathers are ruffled and the plumage is dull, sits next to its eyes closed, watery or dull eyes, runny muzzle, sleeps a lot, looses interest surrounded by its environment and stays at its feed cup, droppings may modify colour and be loose (if healthy they are greyish white and not to thin). Also profusely of tail bobbing, dropping off it's perch, weird and wonderful breathing, sneezing, and excessive scratching, later see a vet asap.
most birds do put there beak in to near feathers and chew on stuff and it probly was sea that was on its snout but i would still bring it to the vet
Check on Yahoo groups for Lovebirds. This is great resource, and you can ask someone who knows the breed. Barb Cole
If she plucks out her feathers and shivers. steal her to the vet now. you know that something is wrong and obviously you don't want a bald bird.
Annika, consent to me say NO snot from the nostrils is typical. Water yes, snot NO.
When we get into the smaller species of birds, their nasal cavity do gain clogged. This has to be taken contemplation of by an avian vet and normally this is done when wing and pin clipping is taken care of during the spring and slump season.
I tend to agree with the other being who said, since you have a short time ago purchased this bird, you need to enjoy it seen by a vet for a economically visit. This give the vet a chance to carry borderline tests when it's okay, this way when and if it does gain sick, they know just where on earth it needs to be to attain it well. Just similar to humans, every bird is different, and your bird is no exception.
I do suggest you get a book call "Feeding Your Pet Bird" by Petra M Burgamann, and it's on Amazon.com for under 2 dollars. It's the best book you will ever find on feed your bird anything but a seed diet and keeping your bird alive for around 25 + years.
I'd also similar to to mention that your love bird can be taught to tell. I've had reasonably a few that have a 30 word vocabulary. The trick to education them is NO mirrors, happy hut, bobbing birds and no mate. I've had some that i've qualified to play basket globe and some that played with appendage held toys on my table.
Relax and enjoy your special bundle of gaiety. They are their own unique individuals.
Good Luck and Congrats!
