The flight feathers on my 7 week weak budgie are missing .will they grow rear legs?
Answers: If you enjoy had the flight feathers clipped they will not grow rear till the next moult but if it have losed them naturally later they will grow again unless it has "French moult" afterwards they will not grow again ! speak to the person you bought it from?
Are you sure they weren't clipped bad? Many people clip these feathers so the bird can not "fly" though within reality it can but simply short distances or doesnt drop to the floor like a cannon orb. I keep ALL my birds (except for my lovebird's) wing clipped because could you imagine flying into a wall or fanlight it can break their necks not to mention the strain itself. As for my lovebird he's only 3 months hoary had his clipped when I purchased him but I plan on clipping them shortly as he is getting a bit "wild" near his flying.
