Can I house-train a two month dated feral cat??

It was born within my neighbor's shed and is the only one out of a litter of four to be precise still around.. It hangs out contained by my yard and meows at me and will come into my kitchen to munch through. It runs away a few feet if I draw from close. It's getting too cold for me to leave my door embark on, and I want it to come in out of the rasping cold (I'm in Maine).

Can I train it, or is it just using me for free grub?

Answers:    Your kitty is *almost* too prehistoric to be tamed, and will probably always hold a wild side. For example, she may never get hold of used to strangers in the house. But she will clearly be able to get hold of used to you, as long as you take devout care of her :-) Be forgiving with her, and don't force her to socialize right away. Let her gain some trust.
Yes you can but you would enjoy to keep him inside. Best to hold him until he is totally use to being a house cat and human being cared for by nation.

I did this with a 6 month feeble kitten. He turned out to be the best cat I ever had. It take lots of patience and you can't be pushy.
You can bring under control him. The next time he comes contained by, dont let him pay for out again.
Make sure you have a litterbox set up where on earth he can easily find it. He will salt away for awhile. Dont just sign out food out all the time, give the name him and then set it out so he information out that you calling him means he get fed. You can bring back toys that he can play with through interaction near you, like feathers on a string and things similar to that. Talk to him alot, even when you cant see him. After he gets used to coming when you telephone him for the food, even though he wont let you touch him on the other hand, try calling him after you have gotten settled into your favorite bench. Offer him a treat, you can set it on the floor where he feel comfortable enough to lug it. After he gets comfortable next to this, gradually move the treat nearer and nearer to you. it take alot of time and patience to break a feral cat. His being a kitten is specifically on your side, but it will still take alot of time. Eventually, curiosity will find the better of him and he will come out and explore and he may even surprise you by jumping up onto the bench where you are. Dont be disappointed when he jump right back down when he realize just how close he is to you, he will try it again . Good luck...remember, self-control is the key near cats.
