My typically still cat is meowing...?

... and I am worried. There is no vet for 280 km. He just get his yearly shots concluding weekend. Since then he have not been consumption much. Now he's crying... walking around like he is looking for something.

Any suggestion? I love the furry little freak.

Answers:    male cats can do that if they sense another mannish cat in the nouns. you possibly had another mannish cat come around and pee around your home. Im not saying thats the problem, but it can be.
Maybe surrounded by HEAT??
is it in warmness?
could be sore from shots. if it goes for more than a week, find a vet!
He/she is probably within heat. Is your kitty spayed or neuter?
my cat has be acting strange too. He's always by the door or at the skylight trying to get outside. It could be any one of two things I've figured out. 1 we did merely have a full moon and to be exact why he might be acting strange. 2 there is a cat contained by heat close to him. Well that's at least what we figure for mine, because there is a feminine cat next door. I hope you're cat is okay.
Offer him hose down and wet food and engender sure his litter box is in suitable shape. Call a vet with an emergency column and ask for advice.

Good luck!

Edit: race, the questioner calls the cat "he". Male cats don't dance into heat. Even if mannish cats did go into fry, the fact that this cat is getting twelve-monthly shots probably also means it's neuter.
I'm a, retired, vet-tech so, LISTEN to me . OK .. where did your cat achieve his "shots"? Must have be from a DVM? Did you call the DVM's department? You have two choices: bring the cat to a DVM or, bring the cat to a DVM!! Cats should NEVER hold ALL vaccine injections at the same time and some are expendable to have every year. Call the DVM's organization as you could have a desiccated, dead, cat to dispose of inwardly 48 hours.
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY,... THUMBS-UP TO "ABQPATT"'s answer!

To ritually give shots may not be important,.. and frequent routine shots also are now set to give cancer at the injection sites.

Your cat is relating you something! He is unwell and probably in strain.

1. He may be having a ghastly reaction to the shot(s).
Was it a live or comatose viral shot?

2. ON A DIFFERENT NOTE: Any possibility that he may have a "blocked bladder", cystitis, FUS??
Is he peeing confidently and freely without any strain, discomfort?
Coz if it's crystals blocking him,.. he is contained by horrendous pain and will die unless medical relief is immediate to flush out.
Keep him on drizzling foods if you can.

Hope this helps.
Maybe he is looking for the other cat he saw at the vet's organization.
