Have you taken your cat on a long car trip?

When you say long, I am assuming you mean more than a few hours? If so, what worked for me, was I put two medium sized dog kennels in my back seat, with the openings right up next to each other (I removed the doors). I put a litter box in one and his bed in the other. This allowed him to move into the other kennel when he needed to go potty. It also kept the car relatively litter free. I also gave him wet food, which he rarely gets to have, plus I added extra water to it because he was just too stressed to drink.
Yes, while I was moving..
Once from Arizona to North Carolina
and once for
North Carolina to Pennsylvania

=)
I moved from Ohio to Florida and took my cat along. he liked riding in the car and would sit in my lap the whole time.
Yep Kansas to Mississippi, I put a litter box in the car and her food and water she did great!
My wife and i have 2 cats. One is new but the other we've had for years. Yoda (older one) has travelled across the country several times. Mostly Northern Ontario to Southern (18 hour trip) and then Northern Ontario to Charlottetown (30+ hours). And that last one was with a fish and rat as well. I'm not sure what you're question is? Or are you just tagging your cat art gallery? Yoda does great on long trips. He's a little unsettled at first and then he's cool. We'll see what you younger one does. We're moving from Charlottetown to Vancouver...ug. I guess we'll find out.
Just home from the SPCA, then to the airport a few years later, 5500km accorss the ocean, and then drive accorss the island.
