Cats drinking dampen beside soaring Iron?

I noticed that the wet in my nouns is yellow, which concerned me until we get a noticed from the Utility company stating near is high Iron and it is not dodgy. I have also notice lately that my cats litter box is more funky!! (it's an automatic one) It smells like ammonia, and I own to clean it more recurrently now. Is that because of the Iron, or freshly a coincidence?

Answers:    That would be a coincidence. It does sound approaching you're noticing that your cats are drinking more dampen and, as a result, producing more urine.

The increased ammonia smell would only come from a illustrious protein diet (which contains alot of nitrogen from the amino acids in protein). This nitrogen is converted into urea (that contains no iron) within the urine. When the urine enters the litter box, germs covert the urea into ammonia.
with iron u cant juz produce ammonia.. lols
when u smell it it cant be ammonia, u call for test, near are many more pungent compounds and elements save for ammonia.
too much iron is not good for cats. i suggest you set up a stop by to the vet just incase.
Your cat could of late have a urinary tract infection. You should transport her/him to the vet and have a urine audition done. If it is a urinary tract infection it can usually be easily solved beside medication but if you let it shift and don't get medication and can become impressively serious. Is there any blood contained by the urine?
