Seasonal UTI for a cat?

Hi! My cat, Charlotte, has what our vet calls a seasonal UTI - where in either spring or fall cats sometimes develop unknown UTI's. It happens only once a year or two. She doesnt have any kidney issues, etc. Just wondering if any of your cats have this issue and if so - any suggestions on how to handle it or any articles that were helpful? Thanks:)

It might be helpful to go to: http://littlebigcat.com and read Dr. Jean Hovfe's article titled "Urinary Tract Disorders in Cats". It is at the very end of about fifty aritlces on cat health and behavior.
A Vet told me one time to sprinkle a pinch of a crushed vitamin C pill on the food. Cats don't mind the taste of the ascorbic acid.

Vitamin C also helps break up crystals in the urine.
