My cat broke up a conflict that broke out between my dogs, I enjoy never see a cat ever do that, is that commonplace?
Answers: Kind of. It isn't what I would refer to as 'normal', but it does happen.
There enjoy been occasion where my two dogs enjoy been bickering, and my cat strolls up, smacks them both, and walk away, leaving confused two confused dogs within his wake.
Then again, nearby have also be occasions where on earth my cats have be arguing, and my dog runs up to them, stops just in the past he'd crash into either cat; and go "RUFF!", startling both of them out of their argument, and then he comes strolling up to me next to a satisfied look on his obverse; like "See mom? I told them we didn't hold to resort to violence. I be right mom. Huh? See? I was right. Wasn't I? Mom? Mom? Are you fascinated? Mom?"
Then again; maybe I in recent times have irregular pets. :-p.
