Anyone used the Furminator brush on a short-haired cat?

Or do you have other suggestions on the best brush? Maybe something at Petsmart or Petco?

Answers:    Nope. Kiki, my Burmese cat, like a soft bristle brush. She
also likes human being bathed weekly with toddler shampoo. The
low setting on a blow drier works well to dry her. The
bathing is what really reduce the shedding.
If your cat will allow you to bath her/him its a great solution.
I've used the Furminator brush on my dog but I don't ponder it works for cats because the Furminator brush isn't for styleing for. Cats' hair are more concrete and dog hair is more flexible. I judge a good brush is one next to wider bristles. You can get them at petsmart. Hope this help! Good luck!
I use a Zoom Groom on all three of my cats. They seem to be to like it and I achieve lots of hair rotten when I do. It's a rubber brush so you can use it wet or dry.
I use the furmiantor on my long down cat. They make a special cat furminator. I bought mine at healthypets.com check it out in that it may be for short haired cats as well.
