Ringworm...What To Do?

I just lately made my outdoor cat an inside cat. He had be chewed on by a chocolate lab/retriever mix and had open out wounds on the back of his d¨Ścolletage. It was health-giving nicely, but he would constantly scrape and groom himself. I took him to the vet after finding a small ringworm on my forearm. That was almost two weeks ago and I hold approximately 15 more spots on my legs and arms. He is on an oral medicine to cure the ringworm and pledgets to wipe on the areas. He hasn't be scratching or grooming in the vicinity as much as he used too and he has brown, flaky, scabs where on earth the ringworm was. Does this be set to the ringworm is dead and he's almost over it? I've be using anti-fungal cream and have tried several home remedies and none hold seemed to work. He go to the vet in a week for a check up. I verbs the house and disinfect it daily, go in swimming him twice a week, and wash and disinfect my hand after handling him and after cleaning his litter box. What do you think the both of us should do?

Thanks.

Answers:    Ooh, ringworm is the pits, isn't it? I get it right on my chest from a foster kitten who loved sleeping on me at night, and my poor fully developed cat got it as powerfully. It can be hard to acquire rid of permanently, but it sounds similar to you're on the right track. Keep treating yourself and your cat frequently with the clotrimazole, and be paid sure to shower frequently and change your bed linens repeatedly. It can take up to four weeks for skin medication to clear up ringworm. If you and your cat are not clear after four weeks, it may be time for antifungal pills. Good luck!
ask your vet. thats the best thing to do!
