A cats sensitive spot?

Why is it that when I scratch my cat right where on earth his tail connects with his "butt" (for need of a better term) he lays with his mouth plain for a bit then attacts my arm? Is it because he like it or doesn't? I am not sure either road. When he attacks my arm he will bite then lick my hand. Is this a sensitive spot for him?

Answers:    most cats relish that spot, and often hold 'elevator butt' when you scratch it.

he might enjoy stimulation agression.. and you are over stimulating him and he has no selection but to lash out. Watch for clues or tells of when he is give or take a few to lash out, and try to stop before afterwards.
You scratch yourself near and see how you like it?! and no I don't consider the cat likes it.
