Albuterol asthma meds for a cat?

my friend was given albuterol (pill form) for herself for wheezing and she said that since her cat be wheezing she was going to distribute him a tablet too. is that right? can u give a cat abluterol pills that are intended for humans?

Answers:    Albuterol is used for cats with asthma (often surrounded by a nebulizer), but a human strength pill is probably a huge overdose for a cat - don't ever give a cat ANY medication without discussion to a vet - their systems are very elegant and easily dog-eared.
she really needs to sermon with her vet. Has it be worked up for asthma? Heartworms? Human meds at times can be prescribed, but by the vet not by your friend who thinks it might work capably.
