Are within cat-safe substances/drugs that temporarily mellow them out?

we are looking to take a gag-family-portrait, but one of my cats is a complete spazz; i'm trying to find a channel to get her to cooperate. sweet-talking and treats/ catnip don't work.
any suggestions?

Answers:    There's something call "Good Cat" that you can get at plentifully of pet supply stores. It's a liquid that you put within their water and it help mellow them out...a little. I have to use it on my older cat when I brought home a unmarked kitten. It doesn't make them drunk or anything, but it help my older cat get hold of used to my younger one without too much warfare. They're best of friends now. Good luck.
I've hear that you can give your cat Benadryl but you'd enjoy to talk to a vet just about how much is safe. I ponder it's more for allergies but I've heard it calm them down, some people hold said they give some to their pet (usually dogs but some cats) when they budge on a long drive... I've never tried and recommend asking a VET first!
