Should I complain to the animal shelter?

I adopted a cat from the animal shelter 2 weeks ago. At the shelter he seem healthy but after I adopt him it became adjectives that he had a cold, fleas, earmites and tapeworms! He give my other cat fleas, an eye infection and probably the worms as well. They've both be to the vet and are on the road to recovery but is this the sort of item I should complain to the shelter about? Aren't they supposed to manufacture sure the pets are healthy past they adopt them out?

Answers:    I worked at an animal shelter for 10 years. In my shelters case, we did not enjoy a vet on staff therefore we did not guarentee the strength of an animal at the time of adoption. We did however give a free form examination apt at the vets contained by town. If there be something wrong with the animal per the vet word, we would take the animal posterior and give you a repayment. Good luck with your kitty! :-)

**Also, you should nickname and let them know what your kitty have so they can keep an eye out contained by the other kitties.

**People answering are lame, they don't know how shelters run. Why it might nouns like a well-mannered idea to own animals checked out before they are adopt, not all shelters are funded to do that.

**You did ask a markedly good request for information though. :-) Wish you and your kitties a right health.
yes you should
