I have a 4 yr behind the times cat that has other been indoors. He get out and we couldn't find him for 2 weeks. He came home skeletal but the vet said he was okay. Now he other wants to shift outside. He darts for the door when we start on it and meows when we dont. If I still provide food and water and bedding could he survive?
Answers: As long as he still have his hind claws, he will still be able to shield himself. Cats fight primarily beside their back foot.
I wouldn't take the arbitrary. He got lucky once, but if he'd be gotten hold of by another cat or a dog, or even a squirrel, he would not have be able to fend for himself. He can't even climb a tree to safekeeping!
