How can I find out my cats age?
Answers: usually a vet can tell from the teeth. this is true beside dogs but not always beside cats. it is an estimate not an actual age.
ask a vet!
Your vet is the best one to estimate the age of your cat--by his teeth, eyes and other various body parts. This is single an estimate, though (a guess). By the way you describe your cat, mortal very slow and falling while jump, is a good indicator that he's an elder animal. The yellow teeth don't necessarily transmit his age. This only shows that he's be fed greatly poorly.
When I first adopted the cat I hold now (pure white Turkish Angora), his teeth be also very pale. My vet determined that he was purely over 1 year old---I determined he was at smallest 2. But, I began feed him Friskie's Dental Diet, and in just about 6 months, his teeth were as pure white as his coat. It is much more difficult to describe the exact age of a cat than it is a dog. Whatever his age, love him, care for him properly, nurture him good food--for CATS, not ethnic group food, and keep him indoors as much as possible. If he's getting for a while slower in movement than he used to be, disappearing him outdoors all the time is a peril to his health--and more worry for you.
See how grow his/her teeth are.and you can quess by his/her size. Doesn't really matter anyway.a okay taken care of cat can live for copious years.
A vet may be able to bring up to date you by looking at his teeth mostly, but also his size and overall condition. You have to lug him to teh vet anyway, for shots, deworming, anti-flea, and blood tests wouldn't be a unpromising idea.
