Declawing??
Answers: Dont do it unless you completely have too. It shrinks their paw and causes arthritis latter in age. I have to do it to one cat who insistently kept letting himself out of my screen door. It started to cost too much to replace, so i have to do it. I'll tell you though, if you can gain away with it don't bear him to the vet, he'll stay mad for going on for week at whoever takes him to gain it done. If you want to score brownie points next to him, pick up from the vet. Then he thinks your the one who save him...Trust me.
It's not bad at adjectives. It'll save you a great deal of grief.
YES...It is SOOO painful for the cat. Just trim the nail, have a vet show you how
yes it;s doomed to failure, it's mutilation & painful for kitty. why does he HAVE to bring declawed?
No cat HAS to get declawed. Please be in motion to Google and type in "declaw cats." Read what they really do to these poor animals. It is mutilation. It would be the equivalent of adjectives off the tips of your fingers at the first knuckle. PLEASE don't do this to your cat. If you hang on to the claws trimmed they will not be sharp. He/she needs the claws to stretch and exercise. PLEASE read up on this horrible surgery up to that time you put your cat through this! Your cat trusts you, and you will have to live near the decision.
Declawing is very bad. Avoid it unless absolutely mandatory. The animal shelter (SPCA) where I get my last two cats from refuse to declaw and makes clear recommendation against it.
It takes stale more than just the claw. Imagine losing most of your fingers, have only for a time bit of each finger vanished.
Cats rely on their paws for match and when declawed, their balance is greatly lessened. Also, if you cat is an outdoor cat, declawing removes a great source of self defense and the qualifications to climb.
If your cat has a scratch issue, try putting double sided tape where on earth the kitty scratches. After a few days, the cat will probably not mark there anymore.
I already posted this beforehand but ...here you go again : I mull over its cruel. And alot of people who did it do not truly realize what does declawing mean to cat. I also blame vet for not going into details regarding this procedure. I know few society who did it to their cats few years ago. When I explained them the details of the procedure they said that they had no opinion and if they would decide for another cat they would never do it again.
I reflect on if people want to declaw the cat they should not even expect about getting one. This procedure is unjust in over 40 countries. And I option U.S. would have duplicate law.
I also recommend this website for adjectives the people who are considering to declaw their cat http://www.declawing.com/htmls/declawing...
I am completely against declawing. I think it would be just close to having one's fingernails removed. Painful and unnecessary. Cats can be trained not to mark furniture.
No it is not because your cat will able to do things generally. My cat is declawed and she is able to do things as a rule with no problems.

I researched it by observe three different cats before and after de-clawing. They be all womanly, indoor cats. I especially paid attention to the behavior of using the scratch post, (or other objects). I was looking for anything unusual that might indicate psychological stress. Would they stop altogether as they no longer have any claws to sharpen? Would they use the scratching post more repeatedly in an attempt to sharpen claws that be not there?
I found no metamorphosis at all. They still use the scratch post just duplicate. I found no other indications of stress in any of the cats.
There is beyond doubt no indication of arthritis in the ancient cat ether.
The veterinarian has medication to steal care of any niggle during the procedure.
It does not mater if some people cogitate it is not right. All that matters is you and your cat have a happy enthusiasm together.
Why does it have to acquire declawed? What if it gets outside how can it climb a tree and retrieve itself from a preditor? I actually researched this subject a bit. Also maintain in mind that the cat can quality pain for weeks perchance even years. It doesnt just remove the claw but the together tendeon. How would you like to own your fingernail ripped out? My grandmother had her cat declawed she said it be one of the worst things she'd ever done and she would never do it again. I wont be getting my kitties declawed. Even though they are inside they can still perceive pain and they still requirement their defense what if the cat gets outside? But it a cat tree or a scratch post. Mine dont claw at anything but sctaching posts and cat tree. Obviously the vet will recommend it because they make money stale it...
