Panleukopenia virus?

Last night I have a two month old kitten die of this virus. It be very traumatic to see him scrap for his life. My daughter is distraught. However She want another kitten. I bleached everything within the house. Only one thing? My carpet?? I don't know what i can do to get the virus out of the carpet. Does anyone have any suggestions. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you greatly.

Get an elder kittens who had already have its full shots ( and the boosters )
Panleukopenis is a virus that usually affects the fetus - most kittens with the disease contracted it within the womb.

Virus don't live long in nouns - so if you want to be sure it wasn't in the mat, just skulk a month before getting a modern kitten.

I lost one at 16 weeks to this disease and had no affects on any other cats/kittens contained by the house.
If you talk to a Vet they will inform you how long you should wait till you capture another cat. I have done that they are fundamentally helpful almost it.
