that happened to me once .try changing cat food and contact the vet if nothing else works
Keep working with your Vet.
Mix in peanut butter or regular butter with his food, then he'll gobble it right up. BUT NOT TOO MUCH!!! =)
I would just keep taking him to the vet for check ups. Maybe the vet can figure something out with some time and testing.
i sudgest maybe take him back to the vets and tell them your concerns,is your cat drinking water?you need to keep the cat from getting dehydrated as its most important for him to have fluids than food.
good luck :0)
Make sure your cat did not get fed the recalled pet food.

Make sure the meds aren't making him lethargic.

You can make home made cat food and see if he will eat it.

Check and make sure his feces are normal in consistency. If soft or runny, make sure you call the vet. Give it unflavored pedialyte instead of water twice a day.
don't give him food prepared by u.Try giving him good cat food.
Keep trying to get food in his tummy. Unfortunately, if cats don't eat, than they can develop a condition called Hepatic Lipidosis, of fatty liver disease.

Basically, when the cat stops eating for 24 hours or more, the body will try to send fat to the liver to process for fuel. Unfortunately, a cat's liver isn't all that great at breaking down fat, so the extra fat accumulates in and around the liver. After a while, it will cause the liver to shut down. It's very important that you get food into your cat to avoid this, if it hasn't already started. Keep working with your vet.

The only thing that I know of that will get a cat eating again when it truly doesn't want to is Fancy Feast food. Normally, I would never suggest that food, but it has helped in the past. There is something about the aroma and taste that usually get's them eating again. And most cat's love it - so much so that it's been called "kitty crack" in the past. When my cat was ill with chronic renal failure, there were a couple of times that he went off food. The only thing to get him eating again was to give him a little bit of fancy feast. I later read on a webpage dedicated to CRF, that other owners had had the same experience. As long as the food isn't recalled, it's more important to get them eating again, no matter how great or how poor the food quality is.

Keep working with the vet, though. There could be so many reasons as to why he's not eating, and only a vet can determine what it is.
Has your vet checked you cat for FIV. I had a cat go down on me and the vet did all of the standard tests, but no blood test. Of course, at the time, I was in the dark about this. She just lay down one day and refused to eat, drink, or move. She was not paralyzed. When I would pet her, she would look up at me with loving eyes. I fed her with an eye dropper for three days. I gave her chicken broth and beef broth, from the dropper. Do not use syringe on these, they are too thin and will choke her. After the third day, she licked a little of the broth out of the bowl. I kept watch and went by the vet and got the canned MD food. She started eating it a little at a time, but I still had to eye dropper the broth, because she would still not drink water. The vet was next to no help on ideas. Anyway, about a month later, she got constipated so bad that her sides got hard. I took her back. I almost lost her this time. She had a severe uterus infection. She needed immediate surgery. They also tested her blood this time and found out that she was FIV positive. This was in December 2006. She is fine now. I have done a lot of research on the. A cat can live up to 10 years with FIV and show no symptoms. She acts like any other cat now.
bring the kitten to a different vet for him/her to check over it doesn't sound right to me and try giving the kitten some cooked hamburger and rice and see if the kitten will eat this
thank you and good luck
