I live in the Edmonton area and have cats that I was going to get fixed before giving them away. My question is that I heard in Calgary they spay and neuter cats for free. Does anybody know if this is true? And since my grandma lives in Calgary would I be able to pretend to live there to get this done?

Hi Lana...generally most shelters will offer low fee (sometimes free to qualifying low income participants during a certain time slot) spay/neuters worldwide. Consider contacting your local shelter in Calgary, AB and ask if they know anything about low fee or free spay/neuter so you can schedule an appointment.
