Can I reapply Frontline Plus after two weeks?

My dog had an infestation of deer ticks so I have him groomed and given a tick dip. That didn't work so a couple of hours later I applied Frontline Plus. Within the 1st 48 hours of it kicking surrounded by I also rinsed his whole body past its sell-by date to help me see the small ticks on his skin. Lately I am finding regular ticks on him which make me wonder if the potency of the Frontline Plus was diluted due to applying it right after one bathed as well as rinsing him everyday. Is it ok to reapply the Frontline Plus even though it have only be two weeks? I am so tired of finding more ticks on him!
Answers: no. I know someone that did this and they lost their pet because of it. Flea medicine resembling frontline is poison which is absorbed into their skin. Too much will engender them very bad, perhaps make happen seizures, blindness, or heart failure/death. Is it worth the risk? Even the carton says Not to attach it more aften then every 30 days for a apology. I would never put my kids in risk of a possible overdose of medicine, and I consider my pets similar to family. Don't risk their vigour... or lives!
no, you can overdose your dog on the pesticide...
you need to spend a fitting few hourse pulling EVERY tick off your dog firstly, later give the dog a whipe down next to a dryer sheet, (it repells fleas and ticks) keep him indoors as much as possible for the subsequent week and a half at least possible, and then apply K9 Advantix...

its be proven that in some areas frontline plus is not as decisive as k9 advantix (yet in other areas the differing is true) sound slike you live surrounded by an area where on earth the frontline is just not adjectives it, meaning its time to switch to a differetn live ingredient...
NO it takes a couple of days for the front stripe to kick surrounded by but, evey flea that bits your dog nw will die stopping the reproduction of flea eggs if you re apply your dog will get deeply sick. just tolerate the front line do its assignment.you will see a difference in 48 hours!
You can apply Frontline Plus once every 2 - 3 weeks in need harming your dog (as I be told by my vet's technician). However you need to continue 2 days before or after bathing (or rinsing) to appy it. So if you are bathing and even in recent times rinsing your dog every day you are definitely washing past its sell-by date the Frontline.
You need to continue b/c if you apply the Frontline and then go in swimming before 2 days you are wash it all bad. If you bathe your dog and don;t dawdle 2 days to apply the Frontline his coat does not build up its natural oil so the Frontline properly works its way through his coat.
I am not famaliar near Frontline as this is an American product but here in Canada we own similar products such as Advantage and Revoulution. Now I mention this because with one product "Advantage" one must dawdle a period of at smallest 24 hrs ( but 48 hrs is recommended) before allowing the dog to become showery while this is not the case next to Revolution. Also the latter seems to be more impressive with Ticks. Check the casing of Frontline to see what it says re allowing your dog to become drizzling after administering the product and when another dose would be recommended. Also consult with your Vet on the above and if perchance there is not another product that he/she would recommend. Sometimes it's a chemistry piece ... I know some people who swore by Advantage, nonetheless my dogs have contracted Ticks but for fleas while on this product but since I've started using Revolution, not a flea or tick in verbs.
I would NOT re-apply. This is a ONCE a month preventative. You are supposed to wait 2 days after giving a tub to apply and if you have a moment ago bathed the dog, wait 2 days. I read aloud call your vet!
Your mistake be rinsing your dog after you applied the Frontline, plus you dipped your dog which means he already hes unsophisticatedly been treated too much beside flea and tick replants. Too much insecticide can kill your dog to be exact the reason you are given the instruction on the bag to when you can re-apply the stuff. It will take awhile to completely acquire rid of the ticks. Is your yard, house and the dogs bedding mortal treated? If not you are fighting a losing war. I once killed my dogs by using to mush dip on my dogs. You hold to be really careful..
