I hold a 7 month ripened ashen lab, when will he stop chewing everything surrounded by verbs??
Answers: Truthfully, it took our dog a few years. I don't have the space or time to even document the stuff he chewed up. Your right it is insane. It boggles the mind. I asked my Vet and she said that they find their brains around 5. Perpetual puppies they are. We tried sprays. What a joke.. he newly licked his chops and begged for more. Crating would hold been the best choice but we be never disciplined enough to do it. We eventually give up and put everything of value away. Then the kids come and even more stuff went away. So eventually when near is nothing to chew they finally verbs to another annoying habit. Believe me, he be worth every pantie, bra, shoe and all the rest of the stuff he chewed. and more. Good luck Oh, and start packing up. :)
Sounds close to teething, but he is a little ancient. I think its more of a impossible habit. Tell him its unpromising and punish him and if it keeps up try and receive him a toy where he can steal out his habit cleanly and not harm to your property.
