How do you guide your Dog to protect you?
Is this a good conception?
Answers: This is an absolutely doomed to failure idea and will probably shutting up in your dog biting someone or another dog. You could obtain sued for that and if you do, your dog will almost definitely be put to sleep.
Dogs' minds don't work the process ours do. Animal cognition is a huge field of study to be precise changing adjectives the time, but there is some makeshift idea of how a dog's mind works. By principle your dog to be mean you are encouraging aggressive demeanour in him. He think that's what you want in him. Aggression should never, ever be provoked. You could lose your dog over this, and if he's a big dog like a Rottie, he can do some serious blight.
Protection is NOT a form of aggression, it is a form of loyalty. You want your dog to be loyal, NOT aggressive. As long as your dog loves your family, he will protect you if he think you are in wound. This is a natural pack instinct that doesn't requirement to be taught.
If you are thinking of going up to other individuals and saying "Rover, attack" and hold him start snarling and biting, you have the completely wrong perception.
Not at all a apt idea. If you aren't going to capture a professional to help you, later you should leave it alone.
No it's not a apposite idea. Your dog should be trained professionally if you intend to enjoy him/her as a gaurd dog. Most large breeds will be instinctively protective of their ethnic group but I would not try to nurture that trait your self, and please don't encourage any biting, playful or not. Its freshly a bad infatuation that you will have to break subsequently when the dog could really do some serious damage.
Good luck!
This is a enormously bad concept indeed. To train a dog to attack on demand is frightful - dogs can "forget" themselves and attack some poor unsuspecting person, child or other dog. If you train your dog properly to be obiendient etc he will instinctively be protected towards you as his master. Better still, go to a gym and train yourself to look after yourself a bit than expecting a dog to do it.
If you love your dog and your family loves the dog and you adjectives show it lots of love and affection and make it one of your domestic...it will automatically protect you as part of its instinct.
You have need of a professional training if you do not want to come across with an unpleasant stroke of luck. Actually most dogs have the protection instinct for their home and kith and kin but if you encourage it surrounded by a wrong way it is possible to termination up with an cold, unmanagable dog barking or attacking to every stranger (even to your guests contained by your house).
If you apply for a professional guard dog training that would be good for you.
Good luck
Unless you can achieve a professional trainer to train him, you dont' want to do this... you will end up near lawsuits up your ying yang.
Love that dog, be good to that dog, DON'T TRY AND TEACH HIM TO BE MEAN. Most dogs will intrinsically protect their home.
Did you educate yourself on the breed and where on earth they cane from is he she a work dog, sport dog, show dog, guard dog?
There is currently a shield going on in Minnesota, where on earth a man was "edification his dog to be mean" a few months back the dog bit their son. A few weeks ago, the dog kill their son. The Father is currently charged with and face prison time for this.
You really don't want to teach a dog to be parsimonious. A dog, will indeed love those that love him. A dog will protect his home and those he loves naturally. Most puppies bite playfully and explicitly natural. You don;t want your dog running around biting relations. That is silly, you are leaving yourself get underway for many problems.
TEACHING A DOG TO BE MEAN IS A VERY, VERY BAD IDEA.
Just a thought, but aren't YOU supposed to protect your dog.
first its not a perfect idea second depends on the breed. this requires processional training and i doubt tremendously much that you will find a trainer willing to do this, a feebly trained dog is more likely to bite yourself and your ancestral.its better to get a dog that requires no special training and is a innate guarder and for that a German shepherd cant be beaten
you dont school a dog to protect you there will protect the clan that loves them any way if you supply kindness you will receive it
Its citizens like you who pass dogs a bad autograph. You should be teaching your dog MANNERS not rule him to bite. How will you feel if you school the dog to bite and he does as he's been qualified and ends up being destroyed as a result?
