My 8 year ancient dog keep peeing surrounded by the house. Now what ?

We just moved so we thought I don`t know he was concerned. We put a pet door in which he uses. Do elder dogs wear diapers and can he get use to them . Can't deliberate of what else to do . He only does it postponed at night .

Answers:    I know how you be aware of. We are going through the same entity with our little Bichon. She have a bladder stone last year. We thought it be just a bladder infection but it be actual stones in her bladder. The Vet sold us some highly expensive dog food that was suppose to serve dissolve the stones, which it did. But as soon as it cleared we put her back on the smaller number expensive food and guess what? It came hindmost. So now we own her peeing all over the house. It is horrible and we hold to take her spinal column to the Vet. She will probably need surgery to remove the stones, which will cost almost $800. We are so upset because this dog is just too expensive for our budget. You requirement to take the dog to a Vet. It could also be diabetes. If your dog drinks lots and pees lots. I hope you hold better luck than we are.
Have you considered getting your dog to the vet to rule out any medical issues that could be causing this?
Maybe he have a bladder infection.
If it keeps scheduled take him to the vet to find out - could be medical. Or he's afraid of the different backyard in the cloudy?
Get a fresh urine sample surrounded by to the vet in a sterilized cup container first off. Rule out urinary infections, kidney problems. Pick up his hose at 6 pm and confine him to a small area. Is he drinking more? Eating more, transmutation in leisure level? Rule out condition problems first please. Then think on lines of adjustment to contemporary surroundings.
Just buy some new pen then kip him surrounded by it. or u can buy som toilet 4 the dog. hahaha! or just buy a bright cat.
Maybe he has a bladder infection, seize him to the vet ASAP.
put down a puppy pad if he be trained for that
It's a UTI--my girl dog pees right in front of the door when she's get one. She knows better and she's totally sorry when it happens, but she can't hold it when she's get an infection. Almost the same symptoms as human females--your vet will confer you an antibiotic for it.
First...get him checked out by a vet...or simply appropriate a urine sample contained by to be tested...
Second...you could tether him to your bedside..(I am assuming he sleeps in your room and/or have free roam of the house...)but tethering him(using a long leash tie him to your bed) would stop the peeing at night..and "undo" the quirk that he has gotten use to...
You should unsurprisingly have your vet run a urinalysis on him and a full chemistry panel simply to rule out health issues specifically causing him to not man to hold his urine during the night... and anyone in the unmarked house he may be a bit reluctant to go outside during the hours of darkness. Until the vet visit (sooner the better) I would put down a great deal of ice cubes beside water when you budge to bed instead of a full bowl of water (do not withold hose during the night freshly in armour this is medical) Hope this helps
