Answers: My vet said use baby shampoo it works great for my 2 dogs gl next to all. did u know that Dawn dish liq. will decimate fleas i wash my dogs contained by it too. but i wash my dogs once a week within baby shampoo and once a month surrounded by Dawn gl with adjectives

My basset hound suffers from oodles many allergies, he uses a rx shampoo from the vet. That's where on earth I'd start. Even if you only ring them for the recommendation.
I would phone call the vet on this, they would be able to give an account you a certain brand they recommend.
Any kid shampoo will work.
Oatmeal and Aloe shampoo is good for scratch and makes the coat soft and silky.

my dog suffers from allergies too. although what ur describing, it sounds like ur dog may enjoy fleas too, but it is very complex to tell unless u shift to the vet. i would say seize rx shampoo or hypoallergenic dandruff shampoo. do not use regular shampoo like herbal essenses or "people" shampoo because it tend to irritate thier skin and makes them flake even more.

There is an grease that is an herbal rub that you can use that doesn't rinse past its sell-by date. Try Doctor's Foster and Smith. They make a yawning variety of products for the problem you are describing. I hold used itch stop and it worked great. Good Luck.
i would go next to an oatmeal based shampoo
I use Allergroom made by Virbac ... "hypoallergenic, emollient, restoring, antiseborrheic". It be recommended to me by the breeder of one of my pups many years ago. I don't know if it's sold by vet, I buy it on line.

PLEASE bring the advice of "2Westies" over and above adjectives others. I PROMISE you, thats the best choice for a hypo-allergenic shampoo. I groom 15 or so animals a day and enjoy for 17 yrs. NEVER have I have a complaint on this product. Also, dont spray perfumes, deodorants,etc or put chlothes on tour pet. they adjectives contain irritants to sensitive skin. usually you can stop adjectives the allergies by feeding her the proper foods. It works much better than hypo allergy shampoo. i am a groomer and i enjoy found that if you feed your dog lamb buffet and rice food and order some 3V Caps (get on line) (petmeds.com) this is a compounded fish grease ingredient. it is better to be pro-active than reactive. if she still has problems seasonally afford her a benedryl when it gets desperate.ive never had much luck near shampoos...good luck
