A couple of neighborhood dogs maintain running onto my sward within the mornings. I don't know whose dogs they are, I

have call the animal control, but everytime they have come out, the dogs are other gone by then. Saw them again this morning, one took a big dump on my meadow. I'm getting pretty sick of this. They are 2 mutts. What are my options from here? I don't enjoy a fence, and am indeed not going to spend that kind of money. I don't own a gun, and without doubt wouldn't shoot an animal, except in self-defense. Maybe put up a booby trap?


Answers:    Forget the booby trap - it really doesn't stop them anyway.
Get your digital camera and bring photos as proof and give them to animal control. If they are friendly and enjoy collars and tags, check the tag. Or follow them home or look around your neighborhood and find the owners and confront them with the photos if needed. Tell them animal control will be at their door subsequent if it happens again.
