7 month elderly pittbull next to red swollen nipples?

My puppy just get over her first heat; I hold noticed that one of her nipples is unbelievably red and swollen and it appears to be developing a white spot. What could this be? Is this normal?


Answers:    Have the vet check it out when he does the spay pre-op appointment. She's mature enough, so it should be done sooner fairly than later.
