How habitually should I verbs my fishtank filter sponges?
Answers: This depends on your bio load, surrounded by other words how dirty they get. Also some of the cheapie sponges grasp gunked up faster and need more frequent rinsing.
Generally a rota of once every two weeks is good diary.
Make sure you rinse in any de-chlorinated water, or used container water (to be thrown away), or in good health water. Chlorine contained by the rinse water can snuff out valuable bio germs.
