Help, my goldfish turns into dark color?!?
after few days, the color turns into darker color.. it be supposed to be 80%orange and 20% black. now it's turning 20%black and 80% red.
when i first buy it, its scales were looked approaching as if it's having a goosebumps.. but i thought it be normal.
next, now, it's turning really brown color and its fins and tail seemed approaching bitten by something.
however, since the size of the other fish is smaller than this one, and they don't seem similar to they're fighting, next.. i wonder why is this?n what should i do?

Answers: Well, firstly, you mentioned that your color percentages as indistinguishable both times, but I got the jist of what you be saying.
You didn't influence what type of goldfish you have, but it sounds as though it have more than one thing going on.
Some goldfish, moors for example, regulation color in counterattack to temperature translate, and it is essential that you keep them contained by a constant, stable temperature to say the colors as they are. This could very very well be your situation.
Others change color when they are maturing, but at the size you mentioned, I don't suppose this is the case.
The scales you mentioned nouns as though you have a Pearlscale; surrounded by which the scales are convex, or curved outward.
Now the problem with the fins sounds resembling fin rot. There are a few things you can do. Mardel makes an excellent pills for this, or you could do a salt tub, which is a proven method for several fish ailments, including this one. In my experience, the salt works extremely all right in conjunction near medication, sometimes cutting the treatment time contained by half. Hope this help.
