My oscar fish get attack concluding hours of darkness very soon??

My oscar fish got attack later night and presently just going on for all of his scales are bad and he still alive but it can't swim at all, I can see him breathing that's nearly it. Should I take him out the container or just lurk and see if he will make it?

Answers:    Since you're asking just about saving this fish, I would guess that this is the fish you diligence the most about between it and the one that hammer him up. In this case, I would administer away the mean fish and allow the oscar to capture better on his own in the aquarium you hold. Moving fish to a quarantine tank is a great model, but oscars a huge fish and more than likely you dont hold the size tank recommended to house it. This would lead to more stress than would be worthwhile.

Get rid of the aggressor and watch what fish you are mixing. If the other fish vanquish the oscar up that badly, these are not at adjectives compatible- or maybe your preexisting container is actually too small.

More info would be constructive, but considering the context this would be your best bet.

If this was my fish, I would euthanize him humanely, and not allow him to suffer any longer.

I use a product call Finquel to euthanize fish. It is an anesthetic that gently puts the fish to sleep and later overdoses them and they die.

Just taking him out of the water to suffocate, or putting him contained by the freezer or flushing him are just plain cruel.
Take him out and place him contained by another tank by himself. Place the reservoir in a poorly lit area as this will relax the oscar. Add 1/4 reservoir of reverse osmosis water to stifle fish stress. Reverse osmosis water is soft dampen not like other filter waters which have salt and other things within it. You can reverse osmosis filters from your pet store or ask your local marine supply store for this water. Don't verbs his scales, they will eventually grow back.
