Freshwater shrimp within a tropical cistern look close to they are dying, but not if truth be told dying.?

I have two shrimp surrounded by my tank and just now had to do a complete scrub out after my son tipped adjectives the fish food into the water.

The shrimp and other fish survived this attack and go back into the reservoir fine. 24 hours later one of the shrimp be lying on his back twitching, which i took to be a sign that he be on his way out. It the vanished so i assumed it have died and been munched by its tankmates.

Today, 24 hours subsequent again, it is STILL alive still twitching and back surrounded by view...

Is at hand anything i could do.

Answers:    It sounds like it could in actuality be getting ready to shed it's shell. They do this fairly often, it's how they grow. It's of late like a tarantula or snake shedding. I manage to watch my shrimp de-shell and it did matching thing. Look out for a terrifically pale "shrimp" that's lying still, that's if the other fish don't guzzle the shell (it's a good source of protein for them).
Your problem could be one of two things,
The sudden transformation in Water heat or the water have not "Settled"
The other Shrimps like adjectives crustacean's shed their shells and this combination has artificial your Shrimps system .
Do not try to help it within any way disposition will take it's course.
the complete scrub out could be cause this, did you clean the filter/substrate contained by clean hose down or old container water? you may own killed bad some beneficial bacteria and the sudden insert of life backbone into the tank person their usual messy selves could have upset the marine parameters, do a check on your water and see. shrimp can be outstandingly sensitive to changes contained by water, and sea changes effective their shed can kill them too as they're even more sensitive at this time, they usually shed once every two weeks.

if the shrimp is starting to be in motion into the shed it means you can't do hose down changes, which you'd obligation to do if the water parameter are off, block 22!
he is either dieing from the shock of the complete verbs out (did you use dechlorinator on the water?)

or he coud be getting in place to shed his skin, in which covering he needs alot of places to cover as otherwise the others will attack and kill him whilst his different skin is soft
