I to have goldfish i enjoy underground filter and a submerged pump. These fish poo and eat allot why dont you go and get some of those fish that are suckers and eat from the bottom they help out keep your reservoir clean. Good filtration is unbelievably important too thats why i enjoy 2 of them .
