Actually, I'm not real acquainted with saline water fish, however, I would come up with that if a fish is "chasing" any other fish around that it's NOT trying to spawn with, afterwards the 2 you are trying to spawn probably won't. If that makes sense.
Honestly though, if you ARE trying to go and get them to spawn (or hope for them to spawn), your best bet always is to put them contained by their "own tank" to do so. That way they will be carefree with their rituals. That's what I would do. I breed FW fish and when I want 2 pernickety fish to spawn, I put them in a separate container. I know saltwater is a little more expensive, so it really depends on what you choice to accomplish I suppose.
Also, you might want to research what the "ideal" setup would be for spawning these guys.

Well, if the Clowns pair up they may breed, but the fry won't stand a arbitrariness in near, as Groupers will eat anything they can fit in their mouth. If you really want to breed Clownfish, I suggest setting up a devoted breeder tank for them.
