Guppies and hose termperature?

Hi there - I be at a fish store today and they had 2 two gallon bowls on the counter - near a tiny air filter.and snails, and some differernt kind of fish.a few very tiny guppies to be exact.

Can guppies live surrounded by an unheated tank if I kept my house at 74?(I'm kindly of tropical myself) My betta seems to do fine contained by unheated water.I be just wondering.

Not a good hypothesis. Guppies are from (and bred in) warm sea. They will do better at 77-78 degrees. If you hold on to them at room temperature, they are possible to get "Ich" or other diseases if the warmth drops a few degrees.
