Another request for information give or take a few betta fish?
its manly.
so new quiz:
alright thanks to adjectives for your answers, i definately have a manly.
i wanna get him a friend, so would it be better to turn get him a womanly beta to put in alike tank, or a different little fish? whats your best suggestion for a friend contained by the same reservoir?
Answers: Wonderful, I'm glad I could be of help!
The answer to your clean question is both 'yes' and 'no'
Your masculine beta can live with a feminine beta and he will not kill her...however...he will spend 90% of his wake hours chasing after her in the reservoir trying to breed!
This isn't good for any of your fish...the female is going to win tired, and it's not that great for your male fish to be showing ALL daytime.
You are actually best to provide your beta beside a tropical fish, live breeding pal. IT MUST BE A BREED WITH A NON-FAN TAIL! He will chew it right stale if you place a male guppy next to him.
Also, if you get an aggressive fish, he could impair your beta, so you need a sunny medium.
Something almost the same size, a live-bearer, and a smaller tail will work out fine. A Molly would be an just the thing match.
And contained by response to Mrs. Michelle's criticism, her female beta plausible died from exhaustion...which be my main point. It's not apt for the fish, and stress always = departed fish.
A different fish, female bettas mate and next kill the manly because he will later decimate the babies.
