Fish filter?

can my fish filter be left on overnight? and does it basis any harm to particularly small fish who find it hard to swim against the current of it?

Answers:    Filters should be on 24x7, when they are switched off for more than a few hours the beneficial germs that has colonised the medium (sponge) will start dying. A good filter will enjoy the fresh smell of fresh rain on your garden mud/lawn. Keep the lights on 12 hours exactly!

Are you crazy?! Just kid. But seriously. . . YES a filter MUST be ket on all dark. As long as the fish aren't being completely swept away by its current, they are going to be fine. If worst comes to worst. . . GET A SMALLER FILTER!
