How heaps Dwarf Cichlids can i fit within a 30 Gal reservoir?

I'm thinking about getting, 2 Convict Cichlids, and 2 Electric Yellows. Can i mix them together surrounded by one tank? I be thinking about getting 2 of respectively in one 30 gal reservoir or should i just stick to 2 Convicts surrounded by 1 30 gal tank?


Answers:    You should achieve the 2 convicts or a group 4 of electric yellows not both,it is best not to mix African and American cichlids.
I would reccommend only putting 1 Male Cichlid and at most minuscule 2 females in 1 container no matter what the size is. Cichlids are exceedingly territorial and will kill other cichlids. If you plan on putting non-cichlids within the tank as very well i would reccommend a school (more than 5) of vastly fast fish! The Cichlids will chase them so they have need of to be quick or they will be motionless! I have have fish tanks my unbroken life and hold learned from experience. Good luck on your tank! By the way, if this is a investigational tank run the hose alone in the reservoir for at least 7 days to gain the bacteria level where they should be.
