Are two small Tiger Barbs ok to put within a 29 gallon reservoir beside two voluminous Silver Dollars?
Answers: Not really. Tiger barbs are agressive fish, and they should be kept within schools of at tiniest 6 or more. In a large plenty group, they'll keep most of the aggression among their own species, but if the group is too small, they'll pick at the other fish surrounded by the tank.
As a rule of thumb, you should own one gallon of water for every inch of fish length. I don't know how long Tiger barb or silver dollars grow, but for my example lets vote a tiger barb grows to 5 inches long. Thats 10 inches so far. And, again for my example, a Silver Dollar grows to 7 inches, then thats another 14 inches. 14 inches + 10 inches is 24 inches, so you would stipulation 24 gallons of water.
yeah as long as you procure about 6 of them the aggression should be held inwardly the group op barbs
I wouldn't recommend it. One of my fish tanks come with a sliver dollar and when we get some tiger barbs, they kill him.
