Answers:    Most fish problems are caused by poor dampen quality. Immediately examination your water for ammonia and nitrites. Ammonia and nitrite should be 0ppm. If you enjoy recently changed any of hose down and added water that differed from the reservoir temp, you could have shocked the fish. Likewise, if you hold buffered the water for pH, you could hold shocked the fish. pH needs to be stable. Stable pH is other better than fluctuating pH, even for cichlids.

Many fish will rest on the bottom due to constipation from overfeeding. Check your water chemistry. If your ammonia and nitrites are more than 0ppm, execute partial waters of about 20% per afternoon until the parameters are contained by line. If you've over feed the fish, starve it for 2 days and it should become active again.

Good luck.
i would return the fish and catch a new one.. or ur fish is not use too.. try checking the marine levels.. u noe, chemical sagacious..
