How long do placo's live?(tropical fish/cat fish)?

Answers:    As a very common rule of thumb, The bigger the fish the longer the possible life expectancy. Like I said this is a alter general rule and cannot be put to use for every fish. Life expectancy also have to do with the cistern size the fish is kept in, the diet of the fish, and the wet quality during the fish's existence.

Common plecos can get tremendously large (18 - 24 inches) given a generous tank, well brought-up diet and proper care. They can live 10 - 15 years, but 20+ years is not unheard of near them. So like masses other large fish such as Oscars, Arowanas, and Large species of catfish (just to first name a few), you need to be prepared to pilfer care of the fish for a long time.
I don't know here actual life expectancy, but I have one for about 5 years and have to sell sour my live stock because I was moving.
