To me, guppies are one of the hardiest and easiest to breed fish out at hand. We moved into an apartment where the previous tenant had disappeared a 5 gal aquarium with guppies surrounded by it on the kitchen table. When we arrived the water be dirty but about 30 guppies be alive in the container. We started doing weekly water change, no filter, no cover, no heater, lately the aquarium. We kept 8 of the fish and flushed the rest. In the two years we lived in that place we must hold gotten rid of close to 1,000 guppies at the rate of about 50 to 70 every two to three months. They in recent times kept having more and more babies. If you want to breed specific, fancy guppies greatly more care and deeply of research should go into your project. Just needed to give you an example of how flowing it can be to raise/breed common guppies.
