IN MY FISH TANK I HAVE LITTLE TINY STRANDS OF HAIRS GROWING I HAVE A WORKING FILTER AND ITS ALWAYS ON,WHAT IS THE STRANDS GROWING ON MY FISH TANK ROCKS AND THE GLASS,IT IS CLEAR AND IS SLIMY.WHAT IS IT!

Answers:    There are lots of varying things that can cause it. The worthy bacteria that you want growing within the tank form a slime so you really don't want to mess beside the slime too much. You can get rid of the extra excess gunk and slime by vacuuming the gravel near every WEEKLY water modification and just wipe the cup off beside a papertowel. Make sure to rinse the filter pads contained by discarded tank marine and wipe out the total unit itself monthly.

It somewhat sounds approaching algae but algae isn't clear so I figure it is purely the slime and then the gunk (leftover food and poo) sticking to it.
It sounds resembling a form of algea....
Do you have the reservoir by a window? If you do next you need to move it,the sun creates more algea after a darker bit of the room
