the fish is still breathing and moving but at some points it just stops and remains completely still and on its side at the op of the marine, then then it starts moving again? what can i do to help it!?!?!!?!? PLEASE!!!!

This sounds like swim bladder. Stop feed the betta for a couple of days. Then only nurture the betta about 2 or 3 pellots a sunshine until this stops, I have have it before and if you do what I did it should stir away in close to a week. Good luck ;)
