How do i purloin attention to detail of fish eggs and foreign babies?

i have gouramis, but also own an 8 inch catfish and a six inch pleco, so im not sure what to do with them to protect the babies

Answers:    Take them out of the cistern with the babies and put them surrounded by another one. if they lived togeather before afterwards it shouldnt be a problem
Most plecos won't bother fry, but any fish (including the gouramis) are likely to devour any eggs laid in a community cistern. If you are serious about wanting to breed your gouramis, you should remove the breeding couple to a separate tank and later return them when they have laid the eggs. Check out the correlation below for more details on breeding gouramis.
